You didn’t plan for this. You still get a say in what comes next.
Maybe it’s a separation. Maybe the house has gone quiet since the children grew, or the work that shaped your days has ended, or you simply don’t recognise the life you’re standing in. Whatever brought you here, this is a calm place to work out what matters now, and to take the next step with a little more trust in yourself.

You’re not lost because you’re not capable.
You’re usually the one other people come to when something needs sorting out. So it’s unsettling when your own mind won’t settle. When a small decision feels enormous, and you notice you’ve read the same page three times.
It isn’t a lack of information. You can read everything and still not know what to do first, what can wait, or whether you’re about to make things harder.
That’s the part I want to help with. Not more to read. A clearer sense of where you are, what to protect now, and one next step you can actually take.
The By Design Method
Six words for a season that can feel shapeless. Not a checklist to race through, and not a straight line. A way to see where you are and what this part is asking of you.
Understand
Work out what’s really happening, and what can wait.
Protect
Steady the things that matter most. Your safety, your privacy, the people you love.
Organise
Let a system hold the details so your mind doesn’t have to.
Decide
One thoughtful step at a time, not all of them at once.
Rebuild
Turn gently towards the life ahead, when you’re ready to.
Thrive
Move through what comes next with more clarity, and more of yourself.
Two ways through, depending on where you are.
Uncouple by Design
For the edge of a separation, and the raw weeks just after. A steady, practical way through, so that “I don’t know where to start” slowly becomes “I know my next step, and I can take it.”
- First Steps by Design, for knowing what matters first
- Organised by Design, for one calm place to keep everything
- Navigation Library by Design, for the questions that keep arriving
Blueprint by Design
A personal guide to how you’re built to move through change. It reads your Human Design and astrology chart and makes it practical: how you tend to decide, where you get depleted, what steadies you. Then it stays, for the questions that come later.
- For separation, an empty or half-empty nest, a change of work
- Personal reflection, not one-size-fits-all advice
- Built to strengthen your own judgement, not replace it
“I’ve been in the season where everything changes at once.”
Years ago my marriage ended while I was living overseas with two very young children. I came home to Australia and rebuilt from the ground up, one decision at a time. It was slower and messier than any framework makes it sound.
What stayed with me is this. People in the middle of a hard transition are almost never short on intelligence. They’re carrying too much, with too little room to think. Give them the right things in the right order, and their own good judgement comes back.
That’s the whole of this work. I’d be glad to walk some of it with you.
